Information we may process

Purpose and legal basis

Personal data relating to a purchase is processed where necessary to enter into or perform the purchase and licence agreement, including payment, digital delivery and customer support. Certain information is also processed because Nenolink is required to retain accounting, tax or transaction documentation under applicable law. Where necessary, limited information may be processed on the basis of Nenolink's legitimate interests in securing its services, preventing fraud or misuse, documenting transactions and resolving disputes. Consent is used as a legal basis where applicable and required.

Payment through Stripe

Payments for Nenolink AI Marker may be processed by Stripe. Information necessary for payment processing is transmitted to Stripe. Depending on the transaction, this may include your name, email address, billing information, payment information, transaction amount, currency, tax information and technical information used for payment security and fraud prevention. Stripe may act as a data processor for Nenolink for certain processing activities and as an independent data controller for other activities required to provide and secure its payment services or comply with legal obligations. Accounting and invoicing

Purchase and invoice information may be transferred to Nenolink's accounting system and retained as required for accounting, tax, VAT and documentation purposes. Only information reasonably necessary for these purposes is processed.

Digital delivery and downloads

Information necessary to provide and document access to purchased software may be processed. This may include the order identifier, product and version, download entitlement, time of delivery or download and limited technical information required for security and prevention of unauthorised distribution. Nenolink does not use Nenolink AI Marker to access the images, videos or other files that you process with the application.

Nenolink AI Marker application

Nenolink AI Marker processes supported files locally on the user's computer. The application does not require users to upload their images or videos to Nenolink for normal processing. Nenolink AI Marker 1.0 does not contain telemetry intended to transmit information about the files you process to Nenolink. The metadata added by Nenolink AI Marker concerns the marking of the processed file and is not intended to contain the user's name, account details or computer identity.

Retention

Personal data is retained only for as long as necessary for the purposes for which it was collected and to meet applicable legal requirements. Accounting and transaction documentation may be retained for the period required by applicable Danish accounting and tax legislation. Support correspondence and other customer information is deleted or anonymised when it is no longer reasonably required for support, documentation, establishment or defence of legal claims, or other legitimate purposes.

Recipients and service providers

Personal data may, where necessary, be disclosed to service providers used for payment processing, accounting, hosting, email, technical operation and other services necessary to operate Nenolink's business. Nenolink only provides such recipients with information relevant to the service concerned and uses appropriate contractual and data-protection arrangements where required. Some service providers may process data outside Denmark or the European Economic Area. Where GDPR requires safeguards for such transfers, appropriate transfer mechanisms are used.

Your rights

Depending on the circumstances and applicable law, you may have the right to request access to your personal data, correction of inaccurate data, deletion, restriction of processing, data portability and to object to certain processing. Where processing is based on consent, you may withdraw that consent. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the competent data-protection authority.
