This End User Licence Agreement ("Licence") governs the use of Nenolink AI Marker software ("Software"), developed and published by Nenolink. By installing, copying or using the Software, you agree to the terms of this Licence.
Nenolink grants the purchaser a non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use Nenolink AI Marker in accordance with these terms.
Unless otherwise stated at the time of purchase, a licence is granted to one named user and may be used on up to three Windows computers primarily used by that user.
The Software may be used for both private and commercial purposes.
A licence purchased for Nenolink AI Marker 1.x includes updates released by Nenolink within the 1.x product line.
Nenolink does not undertake to release any particular update or feature or to follow a particular update schedule.
Future major versions, such as version 2.x, may require a separate purchase or upgrade licence.
The licensed user may use the Software to process their own content and content they are authorised to process, including content used for professional or commercial purposes.
The user is responsible for choosing appropriate AI labels and for determining whether and how content should be labelled..
Except where applicable law or a third-party open-source licence provides otherwise, you may not:
- sell, sublicense, rent or transfer your Nenolink licence to another person or organisation without permission from Nenolink;
- share a single-user licence between multiple users;
- distribute the Software publicly or make copies available for general download;
- remove or misrepresent Nenolink copyright, licence or attribution information;
- use Nenolink trademarks, product names or branding in a way that implies endorsement, certification or affiliation without permission.
Nothing in this Licence limits rights granted directly to you under licences applying to third-party or open-source components included with or used by the Software..
Nenolink AI Marker is a transparency and labelling tool.
The Software does not detect whether content was generated, modified or assisted by artificial intelligence. Labels are selected by the user.
The user is responsible for ensuring that the selected label and use of the resulting content are appropriate for the relevant context.
Nenolink AI Marker does not provide legal advice, certification, regulatory approval or a guarantee of compliance with the EU AI Act or any other legislation, regulation, industry standard or contractual requirement.
Legal and regulatory obligations may depend on the content, its purpose, the technologies involved, the user's role and the applicable jurisdiction..
The Software may add Nenolink AI Marker metadata to supported output files.
Such metadata is intended to provide additional information about the labelling performed by the Software. It is not cryptographic proof of authenticity, authorship, provenance or AI use and may be modified or removed by other software or subsequent processing.
The Inspect File function reads supported Nenolink AI Marker metadata.
It does not detect AI or establish whether AI was or was not used.
The Software is designed to create new processed output files rather than intentionally modifying source files.
Users remain responsible for maintaining appropriate backups and checking processed files before publication, distribution or other use.
Nenolink AI Marker includes or uses third-party software components, including open-source software.
These components remain subject to their respective copyright notices and licence terms.
Relevant notices and licence information are provided with the Software and/or through Nenolink's third-party software information.
Nothing in this Licence restricts rights granted under an applicable third-party open-source licence.
Copyright and other intellectual property rights in Nenolink AI Marker's original software components, design, documentation, graphics and other original material are retained by Nenolink and/or Henrik Nielsen.
Third-party components remain the property of their respective copyright holders and are used and distributed according to their applicable licences.
Purchase of the Software grants a right to use it. It does not transfer ownership of the Software or Nenolink's intellectual property.
Nenolink may continue to develop the Software and may change features, supported formats, languages, system requirements and other functionality in future versions. Language and terminology changes may occur between releases.
The Software is provided subject to rights and warranties that cannot lawfully be excluded under applicable law. To the extent permitted by applicable law, Nenolink does not guarantee that the Software will be uninterrupted, error-free or suitable for every particular purpose or workflow. The user remains responsible for reviewing output and for decisions made on the basis of labels, metadata or other information produced by the Software. Nenolink's liability is limited only to the extent permitted by applicable law. Nothing in this Licence excludes or limits liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited.
The licence remains valid unless terminated in accordance with these terms or applicable law. A material breach of the Licence may result in termination of the user's rights under the Nenolink licence. Rights granted under applicable third-party licences are governed separately by those licences.
This Licence is governed by Danish law, subject to mandatory rights and protections that may apply to the purchaser under applicable national or EU law.
