AI and the tools associated with it have proven to be useful and valuable for quite some time. While they may require some understanding to use, the principles behind them are relatively straightforward. In all cases, it can be worthwhile to experiment with them. One should not dismiss them but rather use them in a thoughtful manner.
In most tools (and I'm not just talking about ChatGPT), you generate texts based on queries, and the text will include what is available on the internet about a topic. You define the length and the tone of voice to be used, as well as the target audience. Afterward, you perform a fact-check and possibly rewrite parts of the text. There are also tools for this. In rare cases where AI is a no-go, there are tools to detect whether texts are created with AI (and not just rewritten).
AI generates more text faster. You can leverage this to create and plan more frequent updates on your website. This method is not penalized by Google and can drive more traffic. Moreover, it can be integrated into translation and content creation. Of course, it can also be used for various other forms of text, such as blogs and articles. Additionally, AI can be utilized as a technical writer.
Many talk about ChatGPT and OpenAI, and many also use them. However, there is a multitude of tools being developed continuously, with new ones emerging every day. There are detectors to determine if a text is written with AI. There are rewrite programs to rephrase texts, making them more varied, for example. Additionally, there is quality control, often combined with human linguistic expertise in my case.
SEO stands for Search Engine Optimization. The purpose is to configure web pages to have the greatest possible chance of being found on search engines like Google, Bing, and others. This requires taking into account a wide range of parameters, and Google's criteria also change periodically.
Search Engine Optimization requires a kind of technical adaptation in the way a website and individual pages/homepages are programmed. I use CMS systems for this (they handle many things). There can also be considerations regarding web hosting, security certificates, and domains that come into play. Most aspects are taken care of in the websites I create.
Structural elements and composition are crucial in content creation. A text has a length, and website texts can range from 200 to up to 1500 words, but the shorter, clearer, and more concise, the better. The text should be divided into relevant paragraphs, with headings and subheadings using H-tags. Links should be pertinent to the text, redirecting to internal pages on the website or external pages. I often use mind maps for planning, but you can also ask AI tools to generate paragraphs.
The content itself must primarily be accurate, relevant to the website, and well-written. This is where I, as a translator, linguist, and text author, come into play. AI tools can also play a role in this stage. The text should be unique, not appearing elsewhere. If one chooses not to use AI, planning the text in a mind map and manually revising it several times can be beneficial.
When planning your text, you identify relevant keywords. I can help determine how relevant your keywords are. Keywords should appear a few times in the text, and related synonyms can be included. The keywords form the basis of the text. It's a good idea to check them. For example, "reservation" (for a hotel) is a good Danish word, but "booking" is rated much higher on Google and is easier to find.

While it might not exist currently, the two elements can easily be combined and complement each other, resulting in a strong product. SEO, among other things, works with keywords.
This can be integrated into text generation. Even though post-processing of results is still necessary, the final outcome can be very beneficial.
There is still a human touch of linguistic expertise in the product you receive, whether AI is used or not. What you achieve is an enhancement of your website's value. You can update more frequently and plan your updates. The process just needs to be run again and again in the variations you desire.
