At Nenolink, we collect, process and process personal data in accordance with applicable EU Data Protection Law (GDPR) and USA.

What kind of personal information is being collected?

Nenolink collects, records and processes common personal information: names and addresses, e-mail address, telephone number,

web information and company-specific information (CVR-/VAT-number).

Collection of personal information

Personal information is being collected through e-mail communication, forums at task providers or via Google search.

Use of personal data

Personal data is used for communication with customers, suppliers and other collaborators, with whom Nenolink cooperates in a business context.

Personal data contained in translated material is processed electronically on behalf of, and according to specific instructions from data-responsible customers.

Safe storage of personal data

Nenolink works 100% online, except for a few accounting documents. (Available in a private, locked location)

Most personal data is being stored in a cloud-based, secured system with 2-level authentication. The information can be accessed from work PCs and some also from a telephone (which is also secured).

The system includes web-based databases and e-mail, as well as online accounting systems with separate login.

The domain nenolink.com is SSL secured.

Translations are being processed electronically in CAT tools (such as SDL Trados), as well as in web-based cloud-based translation systems) owned by providers themselves.

Production materials and documents (may contain personal information), as well as lists of tasks and accounting materials are stored in a secured cloud based system and synchronized between a few workstations (Fast PC and laptop as well as an android-based device). Te system has version management and backup. The material is normally cleaned up annually, except when the customer requires immediate deletion, or otherwise stated in agreements with the customer. Translation Memories and Term Bases can be stored longer, but does usually not contain personal information. Nenolink has customer/cooperation/subscription agreements with the companies behind these services.

For how long is personal information being stored?

Emails and files related to translation tasks containing personal information are stored until the specific translation task is completed, after which they are being deleted. An archive is saved as a backup, should customers rise vlaims about specific translation tasks.

Contact information is saved as long as cooperation with the customer is in progress. The information is revised annually and backed up as long as required by Danish Tax and other Authorities.

Disclosure of personal information to third parties

Nenolink does not disclose personal information to third parties, except what is required for accounting and billing, as well as banks, PayPal and the like. Involved customers control the payment method used.
